OSForensics V5 - crash on installation to USB drive

OSForensics V5 crashes when I attempt to install to a USB drive.

Thank you for reporting this. We were able to replicate the crash and currently looking into it.

We looked into it. There was a problem with the V5 free upgrade keys we generated yesterday. Basically the keys were bad. We regenerated all the free upgrade keys this morning and deleted the bad ones. So anyone who collected a free upgrade key in the last 18 hours will need to login again a get a correct key.

Sorry about the inconvenience, but thanks for pointing out the problem. Catching it today means it didn't have time to turn into a bigger issue.

I paid for an upgrade and I'm having the same problem, crashing when installing to USB. The emailed key and the key in Manage My Products is the same. Also, numerous crashes while using the product.

There was a new patch release put up today. See,

So make sure you have that new release.
Then if you still have a problem, please E-mail us all the details.

Also send a Debug log if you can.
