  • Change location of Hash Sets from main drive? (feature request)

    Hello,

Loving OSF so far. Working good!

However, I have it installed on a machine that does not have enough space on it's main drive/partition to hold all the hash sets I want. It is also not an option to install it to another drive. If I install OSF to D:, where there's plenty of space, the hash sets still get installed to C: in a program data folder (I'm running win7).

What I would like to do is have an option that allows me to keep OSF installed on C: but to select a path on D: for the location of the hash sets.

    Cheers,
    Byron Sonne

Maybe you can do a 'USB install' from the file menu.

In this case the hash set folder will be under the USB install folder.

Just following up on this question to see if this is possible yet? I have a drive with about 3TB of rainbow tables that I would like to be able to use with OSForensics, this is portable drive that I prefer not to install OSForensics onto.

Update: Should have looked a little harder, it was right in front of my face. I see I can add new folders. Thanks
