Problem with Email Viewer

Hi,

I'm having an issue with the email viewer (in this case with .msg files). When I open an email from search results and view the email I am getting an incorrect date and some strange characters where the body should be. Changing from HTML to TEXT view usually will display the correct text but not always.



Opening the file in Outlook everything is present and correct.

any ideas?

We can have a look at it. But is there any way you could E-Mail us one of these .MSG files? It might speed up the investigation if the problem is related to particular files from a particular EMail client application.

Thanks, I've emailed a problem file to info@ together with a screen shot of the same file open in Outlook and OSF.

We reproduced the problem. It was a bug related to the handling of some Unicode characters string. It will be fixed in the next patch release, which should be later this week (end Mar 2013).
