  • Creating a USB boot disk, on a monthly subscription

I have a monthly subscription, so how do I generate a bootable USB with a valid key? Is there something in the notes I missed?

A tutorial on making a self boot version of OSForensics can be found on the following page, https://www.osforensics.com/faqs-and...ot-option.html

You will use the same license key that was issued on to you and sent to you via email. It will need to be created on a computer that has internet access to properly activate the install. No online connection is required to use the WinPE installation. However, as the WinPE image is static/ready only, the key issued will expire once the subscription is up. You will need to generate a new bootable each month with a new key. You can find subsequent issued subscription license key within your account.

If you encounter any issues, please let us know.

The problem seems to be that the key that was sent had this

      "[Subscription ID: 1xxxxxxx][Expiry: 2020-11-26] "

We are in month 2 now.

Just asking as pasting the original key says it is invalid.

Desktop installs automatically obtain the new subscription license key in the background. For WinPE the image is read only, as such you will need to create a new image with the subscription key for the next subscription period. You can find your active key for the current subscription period in the "Manage Subscription" section within the online portal.
