  • OSFMount very slow VHD

OSFMount (v3.1 build 1000) works very slow with VHD images on my system (Windows 10 x64).
For example, the speed of loading such images as RAM drives or saving them to raw images is only ~6 MB/sec.
Why is it so slow? The speed after converting *.vhd to *.img is ~200 MB/s for comparison, so it's not a slow HDD problem.

What are the hardware specs for the machine?
    How was the VHD made?
Where is the VHD file stored? Local SSD, HDD, Network drive, Flash drive, etc..
Do you have an example VHD that has the problem that you could make available for testing?

Here is a zipped 1Gb empty VHD image. It takes ~3 minutes to mount it as a RAM drive (other parameters: Mount entire image as virtual disk/Mount as removable media/Read-only drive/Physical Disk Emulation).
