Make OSForensic portable/startable from USB flash drive?

As far as I can see OSForensic is NOT portable.

So it cannot be started from USB flash drive.

Is there a workaround?

Or can the authors make it portable in the next release?

In fact it is more than just portal. The flash drive can also be made to be bootable. So no O/S is required on the hard disk.
