Will OSFMonut ever be able to run using Windows "User" privileges in Window 7?
I want to mount a EXT2FSD formatted USB drive with a .IMG file in Window 7 as a windows user without admin rights.

Note: I suspect the EXT2FSD driver plans to add user privledges in the next version. Thanks.

    From the http://www.ext2fsd.com/ web site:
Features to be implemented in next release:
1, full EXT4 extent feature support (extending, shrinking)
2, mounted as user: privilege checking with given uid & gid

I think you might have accidentally (or deliberately?) mis-quoted their site.

Their possible future feature was, "mounted as given user". Which isn't the same thing at all as running EXT2FSD without Admin rights.

I think admin rights will always be required to add file system drivers or virtual drives to a system.
