    Hey there,

well winget is a software management solution by Microsoft, the developer of the OS. I am pretty sure that they align with what Microsoft defines as "the right thing to do" for an installer.

Regarding InnoSetup I found this GitHub issue that might help you to fix the issue in your Tool(s)

    https://github.com/gephi/gephi/issues/2575

    This is the ver
sion number shown in the add/remove programs section of windows.

I am not familiar with this exact registry location.

However OSFMount uses the (nearly) industry standard Innosetup installer, which is used by 1000s of products over 25+ years.

If it isn't doing the thing you think it should be doing, then it probably isn't the right thing to do.

    Hey there,
Software management tools like winget use this information, so it would be nice if you could add the version number to the correct registry key (currently HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uni nstall\{E2AF9D8E-F778-4C3F-904B-F4F88873ADDE}_is1)
