    Bettery power drop

After using BatteryMon I found out that my battery power drops dramatically after about a 1/2 hour of usage. Here is the log:

    2003-12-31, 09:31:44, 54%, 1.05, 2046
    2003-12-31, 09:31:57, 5%, 0.97, 175

Is there anything i can do to fix this?

    thanks,
    Alex

It might be that the battery itself has gone bad (a common enough occurrance) or the electronics that measure the remaining charge are bad.

In either case there is probably not much that can be done to fix it. (except replace the battery pack).

If your batteries are NiCad (nickel-cadmium) technology you might want to look up information on the web about the memory effect and conditioning.
