Charge rate/Discharge rate..

Hi!

Just wondering why the charge/discharge rates are not shown on my copy of BatteryMon? I'm running it on a Fujitsu-Siemens Amilo D1840 laptop..

And also the capacity of the battery is a little weird.. Design capacity is 4400mWh and actual is 3019mWh (just wondering when other users here on the forum got something like 44000mWh..) I'm going today to get a new battery for free (still got warranty left..)

Argh!! My warranty doesn't cover the capacity loss of my battery..

BatteryMon only reports the information supplied by the battery charging hardware and the device driver. In this case charge / discharges rates are probably not reported.

Capacity loss is a very common battery problem. It is almost expected in fact. The manufacturers know this, which is undoubtedly why they don't cover it under warranty.
