  • Why 'Single Touch' test of MonitorTest V3.1 does not work?

    Dear PassMark support engineer,

I just played MonitorTest v3.1 around on a Cybernet All-in-one PC (MODEL GX45). All the tests, except for the touchscreen related tests, worked just fine. When conducting either 'Single Touch 1' or 'Single Touch 2' test, the screen shows "Touch test not supported by screen'.
    • This PC has touchscreen LCD that works fine.
    • It is Window 7.

Why the touch test did not work?

    Thanks
    Sean

MonitorTest detects the presence of a touch screen by asking the operating system about the hardware capabilities.

It might be the case that this screen doesn't conform to the standard Windows interface and instead requires some 3rd party software to be running on the machine to get the touch functions to work. In which case the O/S might not be aware that a touch screen is available.
