I would like to save the data that Disk Checkup uses to for TEC calculations on another hard drive. How do I do this?

If the feature is turned on DiskCheckup then the data file is always written to the installation folder. This is normally,
    C:\Program Files (x86)\DiskCheckup\xxxxxxxxx.bin

But you can install it to another folder if you prefer.

from my understanding of the windows file handling system, installing to the default program files directory provides protection against malicious software (and ID-10t users) because administrative privileges are required to access files in the default program files directory. Being able to store the logfile in an external location would be beneficial by being able to save the log database on another drive without filling up space reserved for software and the system will you consider it as a suggestion/improvement?

The files are tiny compared to what is in a typical Program Files folder. There should be no concern about them filling up the drive.

You can assign any admin rights you want to any folder.
