OS: Windows 10
Problem:
Sleeper was unable to resume testing after exiting from S3/S4 sleep state due to the count down timer not starting, user had to click on the program to focus for the count down timer to resume and continue the test.
Solution:
There was a background process that grabbed the keyboard & mouse focus after coming out of sleep state. After removing the associated application, the counting down timer resumed as usual after exiting from S3/S4 state.
In this case, the program was Logitech Options, which is a keyboard & mouse manager for Logitech products.
