Hi!

Most of the times imageUSB not show usb or sd card drive serial numbers.

When show the number not CID and not volume serial number.

imageUSB not clone this number.

Where this serial come from? Any way to clone?

All USB devices have a VID PID (vendor and product IDs) and a serial number. These are hard coded into the hardware of the device.
In most cases these numbers can't be changed or cloned (except in the factory which makes the devices).

But in a few cases there have been 3rd party tools made available (or leaked from the factory) for a small number of specific USB devices that allow their firmware settings to be reprogrammed. You can also use these tools to make fake drives (e.g. set the capacity to be larger than the physical capacity), as well as setting many other parameters.

There are also a thing called a NTFS volume serial number. Set when you format the drive. Those numbers do be cloned if you copy the drive.

I able to get CID and volume serials. This number what the imageUSB show, not matching any of this serial.
