    DiskCheckup DCO question

Under the hidden areas tab when I click on Modify HPA/DCO I can alter the Max User LBA but why cant I change the Max Native LBA?

It has worked for me in the past on a different computer.

    Thanks

Maybe it isn't supported by the drive / interface.
Was there an error message, or is it greyed out?

It's greyed out for me. I tested the drive on a borowed computer running an older version of diskcheckup and it worked just fine.

Update: Tried the older version on my computer as well and still the same issue of it being greyed out. Must be something with my computer?

Depending on the hard disk, the HPA/DCO areas may be locked and therefore cannot be changed. This is indicated by "N/A" for the appropriate fields.

So it is bit strange the behavior is dependent on the computer and not the drive. Maybe it is also a function of the device driver or disk controller or BIOS.
