  • Xeon 3.2Ghz Prescott

    Hi

I have to compare two machines. one of them is quite old and has one prescott Xeon 3.2Ghz.
Two cores are visible on the system, probably because of hyperthreading ?

Anyone could confirm me that the Xeon 3.2GHz found on the benchmark page (with 707 as note) is the same as mine ? Are the test be done with hyperthreading activated ?

    Thanks
    Christophe

Yes, tests are done with HT on, if available.
The older Xeons and P4s had no internal model number. So you just need to use the Ghz speed to ID them.
