i7 2600K - i7 2600 = 1400 ?!?!!!

passmark, i'm back again....

why benchmark of i7 2600k @ 3.4GHz is 10377
i7 2600 @ 3.4GHz is only 8600???

Is there ANY difference between them???

We have only a small number of samples for these CPUs. As they aren't really available for sale as yet.

About 4 of each at the moment. But this will change of the next few weeks.

It seems there was (just by random chance) a low score for the 2600 in the average and a high score for the 2600K. So as the average gets better, due to more samples, the score for the 2600 will probalby move up slightly and the 2600K down slightly.
