Benchmark score interpretation

I'm looking at a couple of laptops that have nearly identical specs (one has 320 GB memory and the other 500) with one running an Intel i3 2310 and the other AMD Phenom II 650. The intel has a much higher score, but since they appear on different lists, am I correctly assuming that the intel machine would perform better?

I would be using it for rather light apps; web surfing, office and low graphic games (i.e. tetris & freecell).

I assume you mean the i3 2310M and the other AMD Phenom II P650.

Either would be OK for Browsing, Office and Tetris.

The i3 2310M is the faster CPU however.
