Use RAMMon from booted USB flash drive/DVD? Dynamic loading of driver?

Assume I boot from an USB flash drive or DVD with which contains the RAMMon tool in a separate folder.

When I now double click on RAMMon.exe a popup appears:

"Unable to load DirectIo driver, Unexpected error".

I guess RAMMon cannot load the DirectIos32.sys driver from its installation directory.

Is there a workaround/solution?

Can the next version of RAMMon allow such dynamic driver loading?
