  • CPU benchmarking and overclocking

Is there a way to look at individual results so that I can tell whether any of the CPUs of a given model that have been benchmarked were overclocked?

I am interested in buying a new CPU that has double the single-core performance of my current CPU (AMD Phenom II X4 945). The CPU I am considering (AMD Ryzen 5 1600X) doesn't have quite double the single-threaded score. If this is the score of overclocked chips, I'll never get double. But if it is the score of non-overclocked chips, then I can easily double the score.

The CPUs in the main charts are from non-overclocked machines. We have a separate chart for overclocked systems. But the answer to your other questions,

Is there a way to look at individual results so that I can tell whether any of the CPUs of a given model that have been benchmarked were overclocked?
Yes. You can search our database and look up other individual baselines from within our PerformanceTest software.
