  • Why aren't the AMD Ryzen 5 and Ryzen 7 CPUs listed in "Common CPUs"?

I was trying to find scores for some of the Ryzen 5 and 7 CPUs but I couldn't locate them in "Common CPUs" which is where the consumer-grade CPU scores are normally kept. Ryzen has been out for three months now and has been selling extremely well. Why are none of them found in "Common CPUs"? From the ten years that I've been looking at this site, I have gathered that "Common CPUs" is EXACTLY where Ryzen 5 and 7 belong. Anyone have any ideas?

They aren't in the common chart as they aren't common (just yet).

The AMD Ryzen 5 1600 is the most popular of the range at the moment. We have 441 samples.
It won't make it into the common chart until we have around 1600 samples.

A better chart for you might be the New Desktop CPU chart

Thank you David, that's a great help! I really appreciate you taking the time.

Wow, those Ryzens really ARE amazing! Looks like my decision has been made! Thanks again!

Yes, for tasks that use multiple threads they are great.

But some tasks are single threaded. And they aren't as good in single threaded tasks.

So also have a look at the single threaded chart
