  • Intel Core i3 380M @ 2.53GHz

Hi, my friend have a Intel Core i3 380M @ 2.53GHz on a MSI cumputer (MS-1681/A6200, we're not sure...) and we juste did a PassMark bench to know what game we can play.

But me I got a Asus k52jr-x2 (Intel Core i3 350M @ 2.27GHz), I got 2384.6 from the test and he got 1390.8, but if we see the bench of the site:

    380 M (2340):

    350 M (2086):

    What is the problem???
    If you want more information...

    Thanks !

Yes, more information is really required.

What version of PerformanceTest are you running?
    What O/S are you running?
Are you using 32bit or 64bit?
Did you run the test more than once to check it wasn't a once off result?
Where both machines running on mains power (not on battery power)?
Were the machines is power save mode or max performance?
Are the numbers that you are quoting the overall PassMark rating or the CPUMark?

      Sorry, I forgot this post :S !!

      Answer in order:

-the lastest of the site, 7.0
      -Windows seven
      -64bit
-2 time and the last time we reboot the PC before
-On main power but the problem is not my PC, it's my friend's PC (he have the 380M) and he did the test at his home, me at mine. We closed skype, chrome, itune, etc...
-yes on "max" (he don't has max, he has an other things but i don't remember..)
-CpuMark ! I got 1010 on PassMark and he got about 500, with a supposed bether CPU :S ..

But he has the intel HD Graphique card, this could cause the big differance of both cpuMark ?

I should have also asked the same questions about your friends machine. Especially if he / she is also running 64bit, and on mains power.

Your friend should also review this post,
