Why is my memory so slow? Ryzen 7 1700

My memorymark is a paltry 1714, which is the 55th percentile. My CPU is the 98th percentile.
Asus Crosshair VI
Ryzen 7 1700 (not overclocked)
2x8gb memory Corsair 3200 CMK16GX4M2D3200C16 (they sit in the correct A2B2 slot configuration)

Its premium 3200 memory. Why so slow?

Would have been good to see the actual benchmark numbers.
But AMD's memory controllers aren't as fast as Intel's.

Memory results all look normal (or even very slightly above average), for the hardware in use.
