I was browsing the GPU benchmarks and noticed that the RX 470 & RX 570 has close to a 1,000 point discrepancy. The RX 570 only has 59 samples which seems to be low when the 580 has 2400. I just wanted to mention it, if you have any ideas on why this happened, I'd like to know.

Yes, this is a bit strange. The RX 470 was clearly way more popular than the RX 570. This makes sense as the RX 470 was more competitive when it came to market, and the RX 570 was basically the same card, re-released later on.
But there does seem to be an unexpectedly large number of people using the RX 570 with older machines (running Win7 without DirectX 12, and with mid range CPUs) . There was also a larger than expected number of people running the older version of PerformanceTest V8 as well with the RX 570 as well.
Maybe the typically purchaser of the RX 570 was less knowledgeable about PCs. The small sample size doesn't help either. Don't have a good answer, sorry.
