    Hi guys!

I just ran a couple Passmark tests on my computer, and everything looks fine and dandy except for my RAM results.
More specifically, my Write results. (See screenshots)

I think I set up my RAM XMP profile correctly, in the UEFI, at 3000mhz, and having it run in dual channel by selecting the right slots on the motherboard.

Can someone give me suggestions on how to further troubleshoot this issue?
Or should I return this kit?

    Thanks for your help!

Impossible to comment of it is good or bad without knowing the hardware involved. Especially the CPU.

Ah, I see. Then, allow me to add some more information.

OS: Windows 7 (Home premium) x64
Ryzen 7 2700X (base drivers, no AMD software, because Ryzen 2000 doesn't support anything other than Win10).
GTX 1080 ROG Strix, running at factory OC.
      RAM : Corsair Vengeance RGB 3000mhz (CMW16GX4M2C3000C15)
Motherboard: Gigabyte B450 AORUS Elite (B450 AORUS ELITE)

Tuned the RAM in the UEFI, to 3000mhz, timings are not tightened.
The CPU is running at 4ghz. (OC using Gigabyte's software: Easy Tune)

      Is this enough information?

The results aren't too bad for this CPU / RAM combination. Maybe you could get another 5% with a bit of work. I don't see anything that makes me think there is a fault.

AMD still isn't as fast as some of the Intel CPUs for RAM access & latency. So you need to compare apples to apples.

What are your current timing; cl-rcd-rp-ras and also trfc

I was able to increase my memory read uncached performace and latency by lowering trfc
