    Hello Dave
    Was going through (enviously) the list of top 100 systems today.I have just done a major upgrade (for me).and was having a look at this illustrious list to see how much further I need to go(long way) and have a question.A few of the drive records show figures over 100000,what sort of setup would you need to attain such levels?Is it a hugely expensive single drive,or an exotic raid setup?Thank you and keep well...

    Probably RAM drives or special caching software. Some RAID setups have very large RAM caches on the controller that can't be disabled (unlike the normal built in windows cache). So the basic disk tests in PerformanceTest end up testing the cache and not the physical drives.
