What is the difference between a Intel core I7 3770 and a Intel core I3 3240
I know this is a bit of a newbie question but what's the difference?

i7-3770 is faster and more expensive. It also has 4 cores, a max clock speed of 3.4Ghz and better graphics.
i3-3240 is slower and cheaper. It has 2 cores and a max clock speed of 3.4Ghz..
It does use a bit less power and runs a bit less hot however.
From the point of view of a home user, they both do exactly the same job. There is nothing the i7 can do that the i3 also can't (but more slowly). -
Hmm are there anyone you suggest that are a bit more powerful then the 3240 but still under about $200Comment
