New video card vs a dual quadro fx3800

Does anyone know if it would be better for me to either get a second Quadro FX3800 card or just upgrade to something newer such as a single GeForce GTX 760/770 card? All 3 of these cards are within my price range but I am not sure how to tell which way would give me better results. Any ideas?

It would somewhat depend on what you use your computer for.

If it is for gaming, then an upgrade to the GTX770 makes sense.

In general 1 fast card is better than 2 slow cards.

Actually I teach game development on the art and design side so I need a good developer card. Mainly I work with the Unreal Engine and 3dsMax so I need something robust. My quadro card is working great but they are so cheap now compared to what I paid for the first one I was checking to see if it would be worth it to get a second one.

Autodesk have certified the GTX 690 for 3Dmax. See,
        http://usa.autodesk.com/adsk/servlet/syscert/card?siteID=123112&catID=18254205&id=18844534&prod uct=116&os=8192&hw=291

So that might be the best / cheapest option.
