Hi,
I just bought a used PC with an AMD Ryzen 3 3100 CPU and a Gigabyte GA-78LMT-USB3 R2 motherboard. After some research, I find that the motherboard has an AM3 socket and the CPU has an AM4 socket, so that seems weird. Upon closer examination, it seems that there have been two versions of the Ryzen 3 3100 (the seller tells me he got his in early 2019, and the current Ryzen 3 3100 launched in April 2020).
So I'm a bit confused so as to what I bought and what the actual performances of my CPU are. I chose this one because the Ryzen 3 3100 has such a good score for the price, but it might not be the one I bought. Does someone have more information as to a potential older version of the Ryzen 3 3100 and maybe its score ?
Thank you.
