  • i5-5250U vs. i5-4250U

Must say that these figures surprised me quite a lot:

    i5-4250U: 3469
    i5-5250U: 2575

Is there an explanation for this, or is the value for i5-5250u an error?

It does seem rather low. We only have 1 sample for the i5-5250U, so the accuracy probably isn't great.

I hesitate in outright calling it wrong just because the i5-5250U was sold with a low clock speed on the CPU, but a slightly faster GPU.

Probably safe to assume the average will come up a bit once more results are collected.

      if you look at http://www.passmark.com/baselines/V8...id=35667801719
it looks like it is a table because of the 32 GB harddrive

        A tablet maybe.
Maybe also running on battery power, which often leaves the CPU underclocked.

Is there any tablet running win7?
This one is probably an intel nuc and maybe HT is disabled or power is on save mode.

            Hi,

I have just put through a second benchmark, which was a lot higher at 3694 so maybe it isn't too bad.
I am using the same hardware (except maybe the drive and memory) as the other submitted sample - it is a Intel NUC mini PC.

            Thanks
