as shown in the pic, fps all around seems average, even a little bit higher, but gpu compute is extremely low (it should be about 12000 if I am not wrong), any idea why?
    Thanks in advance.

Here is the distribution of results for the 3070 video card for the GPU compute test.

So 97% of people are getting around a score 12,000, in a rather nice looking bell curve.
But there are ~3% of people who are getting low scores like you. (the red circle).

So this implies there is a some somewhat common setup problem. This might be bad video card drivers, some type of thermal cooling problem, or maybe some interference from 3rd party software.

I assume there are no errors when you run the GPU compute test? Does each of the 4 sub-tests (Mandlebrot, nBody simulation, QJulia, OpenCL particle simulation) all seem to run smooth when run? They should with a 3070 card.

You were right, i double checked on the gpu compute tests and noticed a peculiar detail, all had arond 163-4 fps which is quite close to my g-sync monitor refresh rate. so i checked nvidia settings on g-sync and apparently it was enabled also for windows mode programs, so that explains it. I disabled it and tests went as normal, averaging about 12200. thanks a lot!
