Why is the performance of the 6700K cpu showing so low on the chart?

Hello,
Could someone briefly explain why the performance of the new 6700k is so much lower than other processors. On the performance chart it is even lower than a 3930k cpu.

The rating the CPU’s are given here represents their peak performance and not necessarily there real world performance with any specific software application. PerformanceTest is designed to make use of all cores/CPU’s at once, many real world applications are not designed with this in mind.

In the single threaded test the 6700K beats out the 3930K. However, the 3930K has 6 cores and the 6700K only have 4 (both have HyperThreading), while having more cores doesn't always mean better ratings, it does give 3930K the edge when all available cores are being utilized.

The 3930K also runs a lot hotter and costs more.
