GPU scoring low

I have a gtx 970 in this build

but im only able to get a score of 5027 under 3d graphics for a newly built pc. I've uninstalled and reinstalled drivers many times and i know its not a power issue. but this build

has the same processor and amount of ram and yet somehow scores higher. is there any way to fix this problem?

Have you submitted your results?
What is the baseline number?

You can also load the other baseline within PerformanceTest and compare the individual 3D results to see if it is possibly one test that is skewing the score or it is lower for all the 3D tests.
