  • Benchmark models list maybe could use a cleanup

This might be a fringe and/or old solved issue, but I saw this and initially thought it was probably wrong or faked somehow especially given the low # of samples. I had to dig a bit but it seems to be due to architecture changes. Socket 939 Manchester and Toledo versions were launched together, then several different AM2 Windsor versions followed according to https://www.cpu-world.com/info/AMD/A...lon_64_X2.html .

Is it viable for the staff to fix the names for this? Can we even tell which entry is actually which, and whether the samples were all put in the right entries?

    I had a look.
It seems AMD messed up the internal naming of these 3800+ branded CPUs.
(i.e. the names hard coded into the CPUID instruction inside the CPU).

This is the actual list of CPU 3800+ variations released by AMD
    AMD Athlon(tm) 64 Processor 3800+
    AMD Athlon(tm) 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 3800+
AMD Athlon(tm)64 X2 Dual Core Processor 3800+ <=== Removed a space character, LOL
    AMD Sempron(tm) Processor 3800+
    AMD Athlon(tm) 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 3800+
    AMD Athlon(tm) 64 X2 Dual Core 3800+
    AMD Athlon(tm) 64 X2 Processor 3800+
    Mobile AMD Sempron(tm) 3800+
    Mobile AMD Sempron(tm) Processor 3800+
    PRO 3800+
    Athlon 64 Dual Core 3800+

I'm going to merge some of these in the benchmark charts using the internal Family and Model numbers, when they match.
Family 15, Model 35 is the common variation.
But there is also Family 15, Model 75 entry which is this one, "Athlon 64 Dual Core 3800+". But there is only 1 sample. So it is either insanely rare or fake. I suspect it is rare. So I'll leave it up on the site.
