  • AMD 9070 and XT testing low on some DirectX versions

I was looking at benchmarks for the 9070xt vs. the Nvidia 5070ti, and I notice that while on DirectX 11 the two cards are so close as to perform similarly, on 10 and even more so on 12 the 9070xt is significantly lower.
Is there anything specific in the way the benchmarks are conducted that may explain that difference?

AMD cards do seem to do better in DX11, compared to the other tests. This isn't a new thing, the older cards were similar.
We don't really know if this is device driver optimization, or some deeper hardware difference.

What we are sure about however is that different cards are better at different loads (different games, apps, compute, etc.)

If is not too late, you might take in consideration RX 7900XT or XTX. Both seems superior to 7090XT in terms of memory buss and vRAM amount. Do as I did: analyze the data provided by this site and take the leap of faith. https://www.videocardbenchmark.net/c...ce-RTX-5070-Ti
