  • Do I have a Lemon!

Looks like my new computer from Dell is not doing very well. Any advice will surely help me sleep a little bit better. In advance ... thanks.

The 3D graphics result is low. Check you have the latest drivers and DirectX version.

I have an ega monitor and I connected it to the the serial port and not the "other" port. Your guidance was the clue since I had very little 3D rendering. Thank you for assistance.

I glad you solved your problem, whatever it was.

You can not plug a monitor into a serial port. They are different plugs with a different number of pins. So this is not a mistake you can make.
