Something has changed in your system. Some things to check are,
1/ Are you using the same video card device driver
2/ Are you using the same version of DirectX
3/ Are the settings in the video card device driver the same as before
4/ Have you added a 2nd monitor so that you are now running dual monitors (this can decrease performance for all monitors)
5/ Are you using software to switch your monitor between landscape and portrait mode. (This can disable hardware acceleration)
6/ Are you running the same screen resolution and color depth
