Just finished tweaking my system for hopefully the last time. Overclocking the QX9650 processor from 3.0 GHz to 4.41 GHz was fun, even though it took me like 2 weeks to finally get to a stable point (so I hope at least). This was also my first attempt at overclocking, so it took me a lot of trial and error (mostly error though ). hahahaha. Anyway, I've submitted my latest results to the database. It is BL8760, with a score of 2324.4 (this should eventually be in the top ten when everything is updated ). Results are below:

Congratulations on the TOP 10!!

As far as RAID 0 you would want two of the same Raptor 150 drives for the speed. If you where building a Just a Bunch Of Disks (JBOD) type RAID for storage you would not need them to be the same type or size.

My server has two Tera bytes and is a mixture of 500 GB drives from Seagate, WD and Maxtor. Though I am in the planning stage of replacing with all the same Seagate models because of the warranty 5 years.

Oh and what media did you use for the CD test, I use a DVD as opposed to a CD brings the score up a few points, but is there something else i can use to increase my drive performance score??

Thanks! for the CD test, I put in the DVD from my Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas game. I experimented with all the DVDs/CDs i have (even burned some large files to DVD on my own) and this disk always gets me a score of 18.6, the most i can get with what i own at this time. I'll post more later, as i am at work right now.
