Does Performance Test v5 work under Win 98 (SE) ?
    v4 does.

Here's what I get when I try to start v5:

      PT crash Windows 98

PerformanceTest does support Windows 98. It would appear that an address set in your SMBIOS may be corrupt, leading to PerformanceTest trying to get system information from an invalid address. To confirm, could you please download the new version of PerformacneTest, start it with DEBUGMODE and post the log.

V5.0 build 1029 is available from:
      http://www.passmark.com/ftp/petst.exe

      Thanks.

PerformanceTest crashes on startup - SMBIOS problem

Yes, it would appear that the System Management BIOS header on your PC points to invalid physical addresses. PerformanceTest has been updated to check for this problem and display a warning. You should now be able to use PerformanceTest, but a small amount of system information will not be available.

V5.0 build 1030 is available from:
          http://www.passmark.com/ftp/petst.exe

            Thanks, it works now.
The Toshiba 4030CDT produced a passmark rating of 20.6
            I've uploaded the baseline.

I'll never get a computer that will make it to the top 10, so do I win anything for getting the lowest passmark score?
