  • Intel Dual Core T3400/T4200 VS AMD Tutrion X2 Dual Core RM-70

So I did check the benchmark tests but over here I can see the AMD Turion ranking but both T4200 and T3400 are no where to be found however at places I can see T4200/T3400 ranking higher than the Turion X2. I am buying a laptop with either a T4200/T3400 and Intel GMA 4500M or one with a AMD TURION RM-70 and ATI Mobility Radion HD 3200, which one should be my pick if I am considering both gaming and general applications. ( One with the GMA is a little cheaper than the other one )

Ok and I can't see a position for Intel Dual Core Celeron T1700 .. it has a bus speed of around 677mhz and AMD Turion X2 Dual Core RM-70 has a bus speed of 3400mhz .. which one do you think would be a better choice? ( Please reply ASAP I am going to get the laptop TODAY! )

I would take the RM-70. (But they are both fairly slow CPUs)

But T1700 has a similar specifications as a T3400 which is ranked as a high-end CPU, the only difference is the lower clock cycle 2.16 ghz as compared to 1.83 ghz and lower BUS/CORE ratio 13 to 11. Everything else is same, and AMD Turion is ranked as a mid-end CPU so I guess the Celeron will be faster.

The T3400 has a 20% higher clock speed. So the T1700 isn't as fast.
