  • A Question about Multiplier

I used v7 Build 1012 to test Lenovo Edge, and used CPU-Z,Everest at the same time.

Why Multiplier in PerformanceTest is always 5.8x ? Others 6.5x.
Is there any way to make it be 6.5x in PerformanceTest ?

The CPU frequency displayed is the frequency measured when PerformanceTest starts up. PerformanceTest does exercise the CPU during this process to lift it to a higher power state (multiplier), however in your case it would seem that PerformanceTest has not lifted the CPU to its highest power state during startup. This does not impact the CPU benchmark results in any way - as they are completly independent to the measurement at startup.

If you would like us to investigate further as to why this occurs, please send us an email referencing this post, attention "Ian", and I will send you some software to investigate. Also, please let me know if this occurs every time you restart PerformanceTest a few times.
