    Stress Test with Sleeper V2.2

    Hi,
I am running 1000 cycles on my platform for S3 and S4 on win7 ultimate. S4 is able to completely done but I am seeing an issue for S3 which not able to hit 1000 cycles. The last message on the log file as below:

    *****
    About to start next cycle
Error setting active power scheme. LastError = 5
Going to sleep, S3, unforced, Duration 60s
    Setting wake time at ...

This happen after Cycle 882 where we are expecting timer will being triggered but it does not happen. And the Sleeper had been existed (hybrid sleep is disabled) and platform coldboot.

    Any advise?

The error code will be the operating system.

You can find a list here,
    http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/libr...(v=vs.85).aspx

    5 is "Access is denied".

But I don't know why this would happen on your system after 882 cycles.

for the error 5, i think i do not run the sleeper as admin. from the Win event log file, i got the following error:

      The bugcheck was: 0x00000101 "(0x00000031," "0x00000000," "0x89136120," 0x00000003).

From the Windbg, this error could be caused if the system stopped "responding," "crashed," or lost power unexpectedly.

Lost of power is not a valid reason as my platform is power up with ATX. It seem i in the deep shit now.
