Comparison between NVIDIA GPUs

On passmark, we see that GTX 580 is better qualified than GTX 590, just as GTX 280 is in front of GTX 295.

Is this really correct? The specifications of 590 and 295 are substantially better than their previous versions, besides the fact that these GPUs are dual core cards. So, is this result true?

Dual GPUs (SLI) card and their device drivers don't support all applicaitons. So they don't do as well as single GPU cards.

So the behavior of these dual GPU cards, such as GTX 590 and GTX 295, is the same of two single cards at SLI ?
