  • Memory performance on 1066MHz and 1333MHz

We run the Passmark, and find the Memory Mark seems no different when Memory frequency set as 1066MHz and 1333MHz, what does Memory test do?
BTW, in Memory Advance setting, the 1066MHz seems better than 1333MHz, why? we execute the QWORD selection.

    Configuration:
    CPU:Intel E31275, MEM: DDR3 UDIMM 4Gx4, HDD: SATA3 500Gx1, OS:Windows 2008 R2 sp1

    Thanks.

The standard memory tests are also CPU dependent. So differences might be small.

But on the advanced memory test, there should be a significant difference in favor of the higher clocked RAM.

This is assuming all else is equal. Maybe for example the RAM with the higher clock speed also has longer wait states? Or maybe you are in dual channel mode during one test, but not the other. Or maybe your MB isn't running the faster RAM at it's full speed.
