Maybe the drive is slower than the interface. So that the interface speed doesn't matter.
Or maybe you are referring to 2 different SATA2 ports on the same motherboard, in which case there should be no difference in performance.Leave a comment:

Board Level Performance Test
Hi ,
I did a performance test for a board,with a SATA Gen 2.By right,when I do it for both SATA port 1 and SATA port 2,there will be different performances,but instead,I got almost the same results.
Can you help me to solve this?What went wrong?Is it the settings?the SSD?The board?
(SATA Gen 1=1.5Gbps , SATA Gen 2=3.0Gbps)
