  • GPU Compute makes PC Shutdown

So today I tried to benchmark my graphics card and my PC shutdown, after trying again I found out it runs all the other tests but once it gets to the "GPU Compute" test my computer just shuts down.

What does this mean for me? Faulty graphics card? Faulty drivers?

Im using an ASUS Rog Strix Rx470 OC edition, with AMD's 17.1.1 drivers.

Yes, might be bad hardware or inadequate power supply.

I think the 17.1.1. drivers are beta release at the moment, so you might want to drop back to the 16.x.x. release as an experiment. But we have had no other users with this issue (making a driver bug more unlikely).

It turns out it was an inadequate power supply, thanks for the response.

Did the performance test and got a 6388 score on an Asus Rog Strix OC Rx470 4gb with a 1366x768 monitor on an i3 4170.
      Running Windows 10.
