I've been configuring my son's new Asus laptop and ran Performance Test 7.0 64-bit on it. By default it used the HD 3000 graphics. I set Performance Test to use the NVidia 610M graphics. I fully recognize that the 610M is not a great graphics card, but the numbers were so close in parity with the HD 3000, that I wonder whether it's really using it for the test.
To make this more puzzling, I loaded up Crysis 2 on the laptop and it ran better, and looked better, than the benchmark numbers would suggest.
One other thing is that when the 3D test ended, I got an error about an incomplete cleanup. I've seen this on other laptops running Intel HD graphics, but it also happened with the 610M.
