  • Failed to create Direct3D environment

    Error:
Failed to create Direct3D environment, most likely this means that your card does not support DirectX 12.
This can also occur if your monitor is set to portrait mode.

My card ran this test once before, but it refuses to run it after the first initial test on this machine. Any thoughts?

Note: It failed after the QJuila4D test when I run the full 3D benchmark

    I assume you are running Win10? (as Win7 doesn't have DX12).
Do you have the latest video card drivers?
Does it work again if you reboot the machine?

Windows 10 Pro N edition. It works 1 out of 3 times when I reboot the machine. If it occurs again, should I run some special debug and post here?

Here is link to first test, which was successful: http://www.passmark.com/baselines/V9...id=78458028391

We never tested on the "N" editions.

Can you download and installed the "Media Feature Pack for N and KN versions of Windows 10"
        https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/down....aspx?id=48231

I can't think of why this would stop the test working just some of the time. But it shouldn't hurt to install it, so that you have full version of Windows.
