Performance test 8 & dual cpu

Hi!

My computer (Dell precision T7500) has dual XEON, but performance test only uses one cpu in test, how come?

What OS are you using?
What is shown in the System Information section within PerformanceTest and from Windows OS for your CPU?
Can you check the preferences within PerformanceTest and verify the "Number of processes"?
Have you submitted a baseline, if so what is the Baseline No.?

In any case, V8 is no longer being developed. Can you test again with the latest V9 release?

My OS: Windows 7 Ultimate
All shows 16 cores
I have 2 baselines: #679517 and #772651
I have not bought licens for V9

If u take a look at the baseline's 2 XEON X5550 VS single Core i7-5820k
XEON score (best one) 9683 points
I7 Score 12868 points

I7 has 12 "cores" vs Xeon with 16 "cores"

something is very wrong with the cpu test, its not posible that an single cpu can take out
2 cpu's

That's my conclusion Performances test does not take advantages of both cpu's

Your system is using dual Xeon X5550 CPUs at 2.6Ghz (4 cores each, hyperthreading doesn't count for much).

These are CPUs from early 2009. You are seriously deluding yourself if you think 8 x 2.6Ghz cores from 2009 are better than 6 x 3.6Ghz cores from a recent CPU.
