  • Need bar graphs like v8

I'm currently a Performance Test v8 licensed user, thinking of upgrading to v9.
I typically just Execute a PT script I wrote to get the numbers I need.

While the v9 radial graphs look really cool, presenting the simpler bar graphs (especially to simpletons who get to make system purchasing decisions) makes it easier to see the relative performance of various systems in various categories (CPU, Disk, etc).
Like the following users, I'd like to see the bar charts comparison of v8 too.

The bar chart graphs are all still there.

You need to click on the top Grey button. See the screen shot below.

I notice that PT v9 baselines (saved as .ptx) can by loaded into PT v8 for the old-style horizontal bar charts.
Is there anything fundamentally wrong with doing that?

PT8 and PT9 run different tests. e.g. PT9 has a DirectX12 test and improved use of new CPU instructions (e.g. AVX). So some caution is required if you are comparing PT8 and PT9 results.
